The person behind The Botanic Studio
Hello, I'm Sarah.
Florist, creative director and the person who will listen carefully to what matters to you.

More than fifteen years
It began with a leap of faith.
When I started The Rose Boutique over 15 years ago, the biggest step wasn't learning about flowers. It was finding the confidence to build a business around something I genuinely loved.
I had spent years developing my skills as a florist, but taking the leap and working for myself felt like a huge decision. Looking back, it remains one of the best decisions I have made.
New Brand, SAME Me!
Since then, the business has taken me further than I could have imagined. As the work has grown and evolved, so has its scope—and Botanic Studio felt like the natural next step. The new name better reflects what I now do: from weddings and personal flowers to large-scale installations, corporate projects, workshops, and styling for television and commercial clients.
While the name has changed, the experience, attention to detail, and personal approach remain exactly the same. Botanic Studio is not a new beginning; it is the next chapter of everything I have spent the past 15 years building.
My approach
I listen.
One week I might be designing flowers for a wedding, the next creating an installation for a business, working on a television production or helping a family create a personal tribute for someone they've loved and lost.
On paper they all sound like very different jobs, but I approach every one in exactly the same way.
Before I start thinking about flowers, I want to understand what you're trying to achieve. I want to know what matters to you, how you want the space to feel and what you're hoping to create.
The best kind of feedback
Sarah's the one.
"She knows exactly what I'm trying to achieve."
That's always what I hope people take away from working with me.
Over the years I've learnt that flowers are only one part of what I do. What really matters is understanding people, finding ideas that work and making the whole process feel enjoyable rather than overwhelming.
I don't believe in telling people what they should have. I'd much rather listen, offer honest advice and work together to create something that feels right.

The moments that matter.
The best part of my job is seeing a client's reaction when everything comes together. Whether it's a couple seeing their wedding flowers for the first time, a business looking at their newly transformed space or a family feeling that we've created a fitting tribute, those moments never lose their importance.
Away from the studio
Outside work you'll usually find me walking my Labradors or enjoying time in the countryside. I think that's probably why I appreciate flowers and foliage in such a natural way. Every season brings something different, and I'm always inspired by the colours, textures and little details that nature gives us throughout the year.
Your ideas, thoughtfully brought to life
We'll work through it together.
Looking back, I don't think I ever imagined where The Botanic Studio would take me. It's introduced me to wonderful couples, inspiring businesses, television productions and families who have trusted me with some incredibly important moments in their lives.
That trust is something I'll never take for granted.
Whether you've been planning your ideas for years or you're not quite sure where to begin, we'll work through it together. I'd love to hear your ideas.
