Funeral Flowers
Personal funeral flowers and memorial care created with sensitivity, care and attention to the details that tell a little of someone's story.
Tell me about them
The first thing I usually ask is simple: tell me about them.
When someone gets in touch about funeral flowers, one of the first things I will usually ask is, "Tell me about them."
I want to know what made them smile, what they enjoyed, what they were passionate about and what people will remember most about them.
Of course, I create all the traditional funeral flowers you would expect, from coffin sprays and wreaths to hearts, posies and bespoke tributes. Every arrangement is made with the same care and attention to detail that has always been at the heart of The Botanic Studio.

Personal details
Sometimes a conversation leads somewhere completely different.
A favourite rose growing in the garden. Lavender outside the front door. Herbs that were always picked for cooking. Branches from a favourite tree. Flowers that simply remind the family of someone they loved.
It is often these little details that make a tribute feel truly personal.
I believe the most meaningful funeral flowers are not always the biggest or the most elaborate. They are the ones that feel personal and tell a little of someone's story.
01
Traditional tributes
Coffin sprays, wreaths, hearts, posies and classic funeral arrangements made with care.
02
Personal touches
Flowers, foliage, colours and details chosen because they meant something to the person being remembered.
03
Garden gathered
Where possible, meaningful flowers or foliage from a family garden can become part of the final farewell.

A tribute from the garden
Sometimes the flowers that mean the most are already growing close to home.
One of the most personal funeral tributes I have ever created was made almost entirely from flowers and foliage grown by the lady herself. I carefully gathered flowers from around her garden and created a tribute that reflected not only her love of gardening, but also the life she had built around it.
That experience reminded me that funeral flowers do not always have to come from a florist's fridge. Sometimes the flowers that mean the most are already growing in a family garden, waiting to become part of someone's final farewell.
Every season offers something different, and if it is possible to include flowers or foliage that hold special memories, I will always be happy to explore those ideas with you.
Memorial care
A small, personal service for families who cannot visit as often as they would like.
Not everyone is able to visit a loved one's grave as often as they would like. Sometimes families live further away. Sometimes work, family commitments or health simply make regular visits difficult.
As a small extension of my funeral flower service, I also offer Memorial Care.
It might be placing fresh or silk flowers, changing a seasonal arrangement, giving the headstone a gentle clean or simply spending a little time making sure everything is looking cared for.

Memorial care options
Quiet practical help, tailored around each family.
If you would like, I am also happy to send photographs after each visit, particularly for families who live further away and appreciate knowing everything has been looked after.
