TV & commercial styling
TV & Commercial Styling
Floral styling for television productions, advertising campaigns, product shoots, editorial sets and commercial creative projects.
Every project is different
No two productions, campaigns or creative briefs are ever the same.
Working in television and commercial styling is very different from working on a wedding, and that is exactly why I enjoy it.
One week I might be creating flowers for a television set, the next styling a supermarket campaign or sourcing exactly the right flowers for a product shoot.
What I enjoy most is working as part of a creative team. Listening to the brief, understanding what is needed and then quietly getting on with the job.

Calm under pressure
Productions rarely stand still. That is part of the job.
Ideas change. Timings change. Sometimes everything changes.
I am organised, practical and happy working to tight deadlines. If something needs rethinking, I will find a solution. If something is not going to work, I will say so.
My role is to make life easier for the people around me, not add another problem to the day.
01
Brief-led
Understanding the creative direction, the setting and exactly what the flowers need to do.
02
Practical
Working around timings, sets, crews, product teams and the realities of a live production day.
03
Adaptable
Finding solutions when ideas shift, materials change or something needs to be rethought quickly.

More than just flowers
Understanding the space, the scene and what will work within it.
Although flowers are my speciality, my job is really about understanding a space and knowing what will work within it.
Sometimes that means creating a single arrangement that becomes the focus of a scene. Sometimes it is dressing an entire set. Sometimes it is sourcing one specific stem because that is exactly what is needed.
